Q1
Word and Excel are missing.
You recently reinstalled my PC running Windows XP but Microsoft Word and
Excel are no longer on the PC.
Q2
Some of my pictures are missing.
You carried out a complete clean install of my computer and you said that
you would save all my documents, but I have just realised that some of
my pictures are missing.
Q3
Do I have to install my own antivirus?
I've just got my PC back and there is a note on the invoice saying Please
install antivirus software before connecting to the Internet. If its so
important, why didn't you install it?
Q4
A two hours repair took three days.
I was in a hurry to get my PC repaired quickly and you said that you would
do your best, but when I got the invoice the repair had taken two hours
and you had my PC from Monday until Wednesday.
Q5
Different charges for the same fault.
You recently fixed my friend’s PC and charged half hour, when my
PC had the same fault you charged me two hours. (The mouse was freezing
on both PC’s)
Q6
Different charges for half hour repair.
I live in Burton Latimer and you charged me £61.10 for repair at my
home, but my friend in Northampton only paid £57.58 for the same fault.
Q7
I cannot book a convenient time.
I work from 9.00am to 6.00pm all week and Saturday
mornings, which are the same hours that your engineers work. I think that
you should make some provision for people like me.
Q8
Your engineer arrived late.
I booked an appointment with your company for 5.00pm and although you
phoned me at 4.50pm to say the engineer would be late, he never arrived
until 5.30pm.
Q9
Differing advice.
One of your engineers recommended me to use AdaWare to kill my spyware,
and then another of your engineers says Spybot is better. Which do I believe?
Q10
Help line - no help.
I downloaded a program called “1KickThis” but could not get
it to work. When I dialed your helpline, the engineer said he couldn’t
help me as he had never heard of the program. I thought that you were
supposed to be experts.
Q11
An uneconomic repair.
You engineer looked at my PC, took it back to your workshop, then gave
me a quote to repair it which was more than the PC was worth. I’ve
decided to buy another PC from PC World, so why have I still got to pay
your invoice for a PC that I don’t want?
Q12
Return to base warranty.
I purchased a new PC from you a couple of months ago and now its developed
a fault you tell me that I have to bring it into your workshop, I think
I should have an engineer come out to my home.
